Do you agree with the saying that the most resilient people are those who are not afraid of failure?
It is easier said than done, but we should not let a setback or even a series of it bring us down. Instead, let us use it as a fuel to ignite our passions even more.
How many times we fail does not matter. What matter is what we do after each failure.
Let’s be honest, the first step to move forward is to wholeheartedly accept the things we cannot change nor control. While we tend to wallow more in regrets and emotions, try to keep it short and do not stay in that phase for too long.
Set your sights on opportunities and how to move forward but at the same time established realistic goals. Focus on what you’re good at, maximize your strengths and work on your weaknesses later on.
Check out where and how you went wrong and what you can improve on. Do not hesitate to let your emotions out. Call and talk to a friend if needed, ask for help when necessary.
We might be busy chasing the goal and overcoming each hurdle that we tend to forget how to enjoy life. Remind yourself why you wanted to achieve something in the first place —- revisit your reasons.
Lastly, be kind to yourself. Shift your focus if needed so you can momentarily distract yourself and allow yourself to heal.
